SENIOR DEVELOPER ASP.NET & POWER BI

Role: Senior Developer – ASP.NET & Power BI
Experience: 6–9 years

Location: Toronto: Hybrid - Fulltime

Technical Delivery

• Design, develop, and enhance applications using ASP.NET, C#, MVC, Web API, and .NET Core
• Lead development activities and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and SDLC
• Perform code reviews and guide junior developers to ensure quality deliverables
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide root cause analysis

Power BI & Analytics

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Create optimized data models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations
• Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and governance compliance
• Integrate Power BI solutions with backend systems and databases

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in ASP.NET, C#, MVC, Web API, .NET Framework / .NET Core
• Hands-on experience with Power BI (Reports, Dashboards, DAX, Power Query)
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server (queries, indexing, performance tuning)
• Experience with REST APIs , JSON, and integration patterns
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
