Job Title: Senior Developer Location: Pennsylvania Experience: 8 + years We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer (Financial Services industry) to join our team in Pennsylvania. This role is critical for maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting our existing software applications, requiring a deep understanding of various technologies and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment focused on continuous improvement and collaborative development. Job Description:

Lead the investigation, diagnosis, and resolution of complex software defects within an established codebase.
Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for existing applications, ensuring high quality and performance.
Conduct thorough troubleshooting and debugging to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and other development teams.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and development processes, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines to maintain code quality and maintainability.
Participate actively in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and ensuring robust, scalable solutions.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance system performance, reliability, and developer productivity.

Required Skills and Experience: 10-15 years of professional experience in software development. Temenos products knowledge is preferred, including Maestro and Journey Manager. Strong proficiency in Javascript and Typescript. Extensive experience with React.js for front-end development. Solid background in Java development, with a preference for Groovy. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically Jenkins. Proficient in using Git for version control and collaborative development. Proven ability to work effectively with and enhance an existing, large-scale codebase. Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating technical information to diverse audiences. Preferred Skills: Experience with SASS for advanced styling and CSS pre-processing. Familiarity with jQuery for legacy system maintenance. Knowledge of AWS cloud services and deployment strategies.
