Senior Data Engineer

Role Summary

Support the migration and modernization of enterprise applications from GCP to Azure by developing testing deploying and supporting cloudnative application components

Key Responsibilities

Participate in application migration activities including code analysis remediation deployment and validation of migrated applications

Develop and enhance application components using NET C APIs and Azurenative development frameworks

Support application containerization efforts using Docker and deploy workloads to Azure hosting platforms such as AKS and Azure App Services

Develop and maintain APIs microservices and integration components required for migrated applications

Implement CICD pipelines and release automation using GitHub Actions and DevOps best practices

Perform code fixes refactoring and cloud migration remediation activities to ensure Azure compatibility and performance

Support integration with databases Kafka messaging services authentication systems and external applications

Execute unit testing integration testing and defect resolution during migration and deployment phases

Participate in migration cutover deployment and production support activities ensuring successful application rollout

Work closely with Azure Leads Architects QA teams and Application SMEs to deliver migration waves on schedule
