Senior Data Engineer (Azure & SQL)

About The Job:

• We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, and Data Warehousing.
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL Server, Azure Data Services, ETL/ELT development, and cloud-based data platforms, along with experience leading teams and delivering enterprise-scale data solutions.

Essential Job Functions:

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Build and maintain data solutions using SQL Server, SSIS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL Database, and Azure Databricks.
• Develop cloud-based data warehousing and analytics solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Implement data quality, governance, validation, and monitoring frameworks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Support cloud migration, modernization, and data transformation initiatives.
• Lead offshore teams, mentor engineers, and drive project delivery.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, effort estimation, and technical reviews.
