We are partnering with a large organization seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This individual will support core accounting and close activities while helping strengthen processes, controls, and financial reporting accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analyses, and supporting schedules.
- Support monthly and quarterly close activities.
- Research account fluctuations, unusual activity, and reconciling items.
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready accounting documentation.
- Support internal controls and audit requests.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to obtain close inputs and resolve accounting issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve recurring close and reconciliation processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Experience supporting internal controls and audit requirements.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ownership mentality.
- Public accounting or public company experience preferred.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
