Senior Communications Expert

Job Summary:

Leads user training, documentation, communications, and organizational change management support across enterprise application initiatives. Translates complex technical change into clear, actionable guidance for diverse user populations.

Key Responsibilities

·       Develop and execute communication strategies and stakeholder engagement plans for releases and platform changes.

·       Design and deliver training for end users, administrators, and stakeholder groups.

·       Author technical documentation, user guides, quick reference materials, and knowledge base content.

·       Support organizational change management including readiness assessment, adoption tracking, and feedback loops.

·       Produce multimedia and presentation content for executive and end-user audiences.

·       Ensure all training and communication materials meet Section 508 accessibility requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

·       Minimum Education:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.

·       Minimum Experience:Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in training, communications, or organizational change management.

·       Certifications — Required:None.

·       Certifications — Obtainable After Hire:Instructional design or change management certification (ATD, CPTD, or Prosci Change Management), within 180 days of assignment.

·       Certifications — Preferred:Prosci Certified Change Practitioner; ATD Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD); IAAP CPACC.

·       Required Skills:Training delivery; technical writing; communication strategy; presentation skills; adult learning principles; multimedia content creation.

·       Preferred Skills:Federal sector experience; communicating complex technical systems; formal change management methodology.

Technical Environment

Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise); Camtasia and Adobe Captivate; Microsoft PowerPoint and Word; SharePoint communication sites; Microsoft Teams and Viva Engage; enterprise email and notification platforms; Adobe Acrobat Pro accessibility remediation; Figma or Canva for visual assets.
