This role serves as a centralized portfolio management resource supporting the Bank's commercial relationship teams, and helps ensure consistent portfolio administration, strong credit quality, timely risk identification, and effective relationship management across the Bank's commercial loan portfolio. The role is responsible for coordinating portfolio management activities across the commercial banking team to support credit quality, operational excellence, client service, and relationship growth while enabling Relationship Managers to focus on production and client development. Works in close collaboration internally with Credit Analysts, Commercial and Private Wealth Portfolio Managers & Support Specialists, and Commercial Relationship Managers to build a strong loan relationship team.

Along with the loan team, utilizes nCino (Commercial workflow and CRM software) to input loan transactions and work requests to move through approval and post-approval stages to closing. Openly engages in loan conversations on structure, pricing, collateral, and covenants. Assists the Relationship Managers in the preparation of Credit Application packages for approval as well as presentations to Officer’s Loan Committee and the Board of Directors. At times of high volume, supports Credit Analysts in spreading and analysis of historical and projected financial statements and sources of repayment for existing and prospective credit relationships. Serves as Credit Administration and Loan Policy resource for assisting Relationship Managers in areas of loan policy compliance and monitoring related to commercial loan portfolio relationships and collateral structure. May from time to time attend client meetings or loan closing with or on behalf of the Relationship Manager. Collaborates with Director of Commercial Services and Chief Lending Officer, at times, on tasks relevant to the Commercial Banking function.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Â
#1      Commercial Portfolio Management                                                Percentage of time: 50%
- Partners internally with Relationship Managers to prepare for annual reviews, renewals of lines/loans, client meetings, and client information requests.
- Collaborates with Credit to perform portfolio management duties including but not limited to borrowing base monitoring and construction draw monitoring.
- Leads portfolio-wide reporting requirement and covenant tracking process alongside Commercial Relationship Support Manager – Paducah.
- Collaborates with Commercial Portfolio Managers & Support Specialists to review loan documentation, renewals, modifications, appraisals, and title work. Supports in clearing collateral exceptions and financial statement gathering.Â
- Trains Commercial Portfolio Manager & Support Specialist teammates on Business Loan Agreement review, relationship reviews, term sheets, and commitment letters.
- Collaborates with Credit Administration and third party vendor on facilitation of external loan review – organizing documentation and responses from RMs and support teammates.
- Completes portfolio maintenance, organization, householding, and clean up during loan & deposit transitions.
- Assists with Expand and Retain meetings through document review, account review, and relationship summaries.
- Researches client questions or concerns for RMs, loan or deposit account discrepancies, historic loan documentation for clarification, and any other RM requests for assistance.

#2      Commercial Loan Production Support                                            Percentage of time: 40%
- Supports Relationship Managers in prospecting new clients in financial analysis including spreading financial statements and credit memos, collateral review, and policy implementation for structuring loan opportunities.Â
- Drafts term sheets for proposals and commitment letters.
- Collaborates with loan team to expedite requests through underwriting, approval, and post approval stages to closing.
- Reviews title work, legal documents, and loan documents for loan closings.
- Underwrites and submits small loan requests for existing relationships for approval.
- Assists with Acquire prospecting and loan production through client research, financial analysis, and industry analysis.

#3      nCino Development & Process Improvement                                  Percentage of time: 10%
- Assists team with nCino process implementation including covenant servicing, annual reviews, and continuing build out from the nCino roadmap in collaboration with the nCino Administrator and Director of Lending Services and Sales Support.
- Collaborates with Credit team to support tracking, covenant testing, approval processes for covenant exceptions, and any credit administration duties within nCino with direction from the CCO and DLSSS.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Skills Required
