Senior COBOL Developer (French Speaker)

We are looking for aSenior Mainframe COBOL Developer (French Speaker) to join a challenging international project focused on the development and evolution of critical Mainframe applications. We seek an experienced and autonomous professional with strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL applications in a Mainframe environment.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
• Design, implement, and integrate APIs between systems.
• Work with DB2 and MySQL databases, ensuring performance, stability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies.
• Ensure code quality, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing application support.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile:

• Proven experience inCOBOL development on Mainframe environments.
• Strong knowledge ofDB2,TSO,z/OS, and Mainframe architecture.
• Experience withAPI integration and system interoperability.
• Good knowledge ofMySQL,Eclipse, andJIRA.
• Familiarity withAgile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in complex environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality.
• French and English proficiency at B2 level or higher (mandatory).
