Position Overview
The Change Management Consultant leads and executes change management strategies that drive successful adoption of complex, enterprise-scale transformation and technology initiatives. This role partners closely with client stakeholders and project teams to minimize disruption and maximize business value, including the adoption of AI-driven tools and automation, directly supporting Deltek's mission to empower the people doing the world's most consequential work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies for enterprise-scale transformation and technology implementation projects
- Conduct change readiness assessments, stakeholder analyses, and change impact assessments to inform tailored approaches
- Design and deliver communication, training, and engagement plans that drive user adoption
- Lead change strategies specifically for AI and automation adoption, addressing workforce readiness, reskilling, and responsible use concerns
- Advise and coach client stakeholders and project leadership on change management best practices
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks and resistance throughout the change lifecycle
- Measure and report on adoption metrics, leveraging AI-powered analytics tools to refine strategies and demonstrate value
- Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, technical teams, and business leaders to align change efforts with project goals
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience leading change management on complex, enterprise-scale transformation or technology implementation projects
- Demonstrated expertise in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter) and their practical application
- Proven ability to conduct change readiness assessments, stakeholder analyses, and impact assessments
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with experience developing communication and training strategies
- Experience advising and coaching senior client stakeholders and project leadership
- Working knowledge of how AI and automation technologies impact organizations, workforces, and change adoption
Preferred Qualifications
- Prosci Change Management Certification or equivalent formal credential
- Consulting experience within a professional services or advisory firm
- Experience supporting change on ERP or enterprise software implementations
- Familiarity with project-based industries (e.g., architecture, engineering, construction, government contracting, or professional services)
- Master's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience leading change management for AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation initiatives
- Familiarity with AI governance, ethics, and responsible adoption frameworks
Compensation Info
The U.S. salary range for this position is $72,000.00-$127,000.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.Benefits and perks listed here may vary depending on the nature of employment with Deltek.
