Job Title: Senior Category Manager – CAPEX & Site Materials
Pay: $57.70–$76.92/hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Glen Mills, PA 19342 
 
Overview Seeking an experienced Senior Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities across CAPEX, MRO, and site process materials for the Americas region. This position manages approximately $100M in annual spend, oversees sourcing specialists, and develops procurement strategies to optimize costs, supplier performance, and operational efficiency. Required Skills
  • Category Management experience with CAPEX exposure is mandatory.
  • 5+ years of procurement experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience with strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
  • Knowledge of CAPEX procurement, MRO, and site materials.
  • Proficiency in source-to-contract processes and e-sourcing tools.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Job Description
  • Manage approximately $100M in annual CAPEX, MRO, and site materials spend.
  • Develop and execute regional category sourcing strategies.
  • Lead sourcing specialists and collaborate with operations, engineering, and business leaders.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements to optimize cost, quality, and service.
  • Conduct supplier business reviews and manage performance improvements.
  • Identify total cost of ownership (TCO) savings opportunities.
  • Resolve supplier performance issues and improve procurement compliance.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience managing large-scale industrial CAPEX categories.
  • Background in manufacturing, chemical processing, or industrial operations.
  • Experience working within matrixed organizations.
  • Additional language proficiency.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20%, including internationally.
Education Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering required. Recruiting Priority: Candidates must have direct Category Manager experience, some CAPEX procurement experience, and an industrial procurement background. Procurement professionals without category management experience should not be considered.
