About the role:
We're looking for a Senior Campaigns Specialist who's great at doing one thing above all else: turning a commercial goal into a campaign that actually moves it, and knowing whether it worked.
This role runs campaigns across the whole customer journey, from a farmer first hearing about Halter to getting more value from it years in. Where the focus sits will shift as the business grows, and you'll go where the opportunity is. Every campaign is graded on the same bar: did it move the number it was built to move.
Your job is the campaign itself: the strategy, the plan, the targeting, the sequencing and the read on whether it's working.
Who we're looking for:
Experienced at owning outcomes. You've got 5+ years running campaigns, and you've owned the results, not just the execution. You can talk through what you learned when a campaign hit and when it missed.
Data-driven and commercially minded. You think in revenue, not activity, and you default to what the numbers say over what feels right. You'd rather run fewer campaigns that move the business than a busy calendar that doesn't.
Full-funnel minded. You care about the whole customer journey. You'd put the same energy into helping an existing farmer get more from Halter as into winning a new one.
A natural connector. You can look at a busy, slightly messy calendar and see the through-line. Where others see a one-off event, you see a campaign waiting to happen. You bring sales, partnerships and global teams along on a single plan.
Hands-on with media. You've planned and bought media yourself, you know your way around paid social, and you can tell when a placement is worth it and when it's just visibility.
Organised and comfortable with ambiguity. You can run several campaigns at different stages without things slipping. You don't need a perfect brief to get moving, you make good calls when the data is incomplete, and you know when to escalate and when to just decide.
What your day could look like:
Owning the Australian campaign strategy. Every campaign should trace back to a revenue priority and to where Halter is heading in Australia. You'll work with the revenue team to understand the commercial plan, including targets, priority regions and segments, and turn it into a campaign strategy: which audiences and stages of the customer journey to focus on, and a calendar built around calving seasons, field days and the moments that matter on farm. When priorities shift, your plan shifts with them.
Owning the inbound leads number. You'll own inbound leads for Australia: the target, the forecast and the read on what's driving it. You won't hold the paid digital budget, but you'll work with Global Performance Marketing to test and refine our paid social approach in Australia, from audiences to creative and timing.
Turning scattered activity into cohesive campaigns. Field days, sales events, partner activity, regional pushes, one-off content and global paid activity don't always connect. You'll bring them together under joined-up campaigns that support Halter Australia's priorities. You'll also spot the moments that could be much bigger, like turning a single field day into a campaign with invites beforehand, local paid and social around it, content captured on the day and a follow-up that hands warm leads to sales.
Running campaigns end to end. You'll plan, launch and manage campaigns across the customer journey, from the goal, audience, channel sequencing and timeline through to the results review.
Working with data, not just gut feel. You'll track response rates, pipeline sourced or influenced, and the impact on customers once they're on board, and you'll know your numbers cold. When the data says something needs to change, whether that's the audience, channel mix, message or timing, you own that call and make it mid-campaign. If the messaging or positioning isn't landing, you brief the right teams, whether that's Content, design or Global Brand, on what needs to change and why.
Prioritising what moves the needle. There will always be more ideas and requests than capacity. You'll rank opportunities against the revenue priorities and put your time and budget where they'll make the biggest difference. That means making the hard calls: pulling a campaign that isn't working, and saying no to activity that won't move a number, even when it's popular.
Planning and buying regional media. You'll own the plan and budget for media in Australia outside global performance channels, including rural and farming press, regional radio, outdoor and sponsorships. You'll decide what to buy, negotiate it, tie it into the wider campaign and measure whether it paid off.
Working with global brand and freelancers. You'll work with our global brand and design team and freelancers on visual execution. You own the strategy and the brief; they own the craft.
What your day could look like:
The Events team. You'll get involved early, so every event is wrapped into campaign activity with touchpoints before, during and after that turn a day on site into pipeline.
The regional Content team. You own the strategy, the plan and the brief: what each campaign needs to achieve, who it's for and why it matters. They own the words and stories that deliver it.
Global Brand. When Halter runs a global brand campaign, you'll adapt it to the Australian calendar and farming context, and connect it with what's already happening in region so it builds momentum.
Global Performance Marketing. They own paid digital budget and channel strategy, and you own regional media, so you'll make sure the two work together. You'll assess how performance marketing is tracking in Australia and feed back what's working, what isn't and why, bringing local context like seasonal timing, the event calendar and what's converting. You'll influence through evidence rather than authority.
