Job Purpose

The Senior Buyer is responsible for managing procurement activities for materials, equipment, and services required by SKM. The role ensures cost-effective purchasing, maintains strong supplier relationships, and supports production and operations by securing timely and quality supply.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes for assigned categories (HVAC components, raw materials, spare parts, etc.)

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best value in terms of price, quality, and delivery

• Review purchase requisitions and ensure timely issuance of purchase orders

• Develop and maintain a reliable supplier base (local and international)

• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards

• Track orders and ensure on-time delivery to support production schedules

• Conduct market research and cost analysis to identify savings opportunities

• Coordinate with internal departments to understand requirements and ensure smooth operations

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures

• Resolve supply issues, discrepancies, and claims with suppliers

• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or related field

• Minimum 3–8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in manufacturing or HVAC industry

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management

• Familiarity with procurement systems or digital purchasing platforms (any system-based workflow is a plus)
