On-Site Position in Woodland, WA
Monday-Friday: 7:30am-4:30pm
Position Summary:
The Senior Business Systems Administrator supports and improves LifePort’s ERP, CRM, and manufacturing business systems. Working with department leaders and users, the position translates business needs into workflow improvements, system configuration, access controls, testing, training, documentation, and support. The role also partners with the broader IT team to deliver SQL reporting, integrations, and dashboard solutions while supporting systems administration, IT operations, backup and disaster recovery readiness, and CMMC/NIST SP 800-171 compliance.
Essential Functions:
- Administer the company’s ERP, CRM, manufacturing, and related business applications, including user access, security roles, configuration, updates, and upgrades.
- Analyze and improve workflows involving Bills of Materials, routing, work orders, MRP, engineering changes, inventory, supply chain, and sales data.
- Gather business requirements, identify process gaps, document workflows, and translate operational needs into system and process improvements.
- Coordinate functional testing, User Acceptance Testing, training, and documentation for application changes and integrations.
- Partner with the Senior Developer on T-SQL queries, views, stored procedures, integrations, internal dashboards, and operational reporting.
- Perform data analysis, mapping, cleanup, and master data maintenance; investigate reporting and application discrepancies and assist with basic SQL Server monitoring.
- Provide routine Windows, Active Directory, file permission, virtual machine, and system-monitoring support.
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, configuration records, and backup and disaster recovery runbooks; assist with recovery testing.
- Support documentation and technical controls related to CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and other applicable security requirements.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 application support, coordinate issue resolution with users, IT staff, developers, and vendors, and assist with general IT support when needed.
Qualifications
Job Specifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing processes, including Bills of Materials, MRP, work orders, shop-floor routing, inventory control, engineering changes, and supply chain operations.
- Experience administering, configuring, or supporting ERP and other business-critical applications.
- Experience supporting the implementation and integration of new ERP systems, including data migration, configuration, testing, and go-live activities.
- Experience supporting CRM platforms and understanding data flows between CRM, ERP, and related systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and the ability to write and troubleshoot T-SQL queries in collaboration with developers and database administrators.
- Experience gathering business requirements, analyzing workflows, identifying process gaps, and preparing functional specifications.
- Ability to coordinate system testing, User Acceptance Testing, release validation, user training, and implementation activities.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to distinguish between application, data, configuration, process, access, and infrastructure issues.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to employees, department managers, developers, vendors, and IT staff.
- Ability to create and maintain system documentation, process diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures, and technical support records.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, and maintain a high degree of ownership and follow-through.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist with responsibilities outside the postion’s primary focus when business needs require it.
Education, Certifications and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5 or more years of experience within information technology

Working conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.
