Senior Business Operations Specialist

Role Summary

The Quote Desk Representative will support Dell Singapore and Malaysia (SGMY) Sales and Product Management teams by creating, revising, and managing customer quotations, onInfrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) and Client Solutions Group (CSG) products.

The role is responsible for processing Deal Registrations (DR), managing the complete quotation lifecycle, and ensuring timely delivery in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Dell ISG and CSG product configuration, Dell CPQ tools, and enterprise quoting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, revise, refresh, and maintain customer quotations using Dell CPQ and other Dell quoting platforms
• Configure Dell ISG and CSG solutions, including servers, storage, networking, hyperconverged infrastructure, and related enterprise solutions based on customer requirements.
• Support the quoting activities as required.
• Review customer requirements and validate quote requests for completeness, pricing accuracy, and configuration compliance.
• Submit, monitor, and manage Deal Registrations (DR) through the Dell Partner Portal.
• Process quote revisions, SKU changes, pricing updates, and configuration modifications while maintaining version control.
• Coordinate with Sales, Product Managers, Pricing, and Partner teams to ensure timely quote delivery.
• Maintain quote and DR trackers and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure all quote requests are completed within agreed SLAs while maintaining high quality and accuracy.
• Resolve or escalate issues related to product configuration, pricing, approvals, and system access.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and ensure compliance with Dell operational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in Quote Desk, Sales Operations, Order Management, or Commercial Operations.
• Proven experience in configuring Dell ISG products, including PowerEdge Servers, PowerStore/PowerMax/PowerScale Storage, Networking, and enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Working knowledge of Dell CSG products is an added advantage.
• Strong hands-on experience with Dell CPQ, quoting platforms, and pricing tools.
• Experience managing the complete quotation lifecycle, including quote creation, revisions, refreshes, SKU updates, pricing validation, and approvals.
• Strong understanding of Dell Deal Registration (DR) processes and partner quoting workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting SLA-driven deadlines a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Dell Commercial, Enterprise, or Channel Sales Operations.
• Strong knowledge of Dell Premier, Dell Solutions Configurator (DSC), Dell Partner Portal, CRM and Dell pricing tools. 
• Experience working a shared service, BPO, or global sales support environment.  Certification or training related to Dell ISG products or Dell Technologies solutions is an added advantage.
