Senior Business Intelligence Specialist

Remote, with preference for candidates near Dearborn, MI

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to enable intelligent business decisions by designing robust analytics solutions. This role requires a blend of business acumen, data and analytics proficiency, and technical solution architecture, leveraging multiple tools for data integration, data modeling, and advanced data visualization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a relevant field
• Expert-level SQL proficiency, including Window functions, CTEs, and nested data
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery)
• Strong understanding of product analytics, focusing on user behavior metrics such as Retention, Churn, Engagement, MAU/DAU
• Ability to act as a bridge between Engineering and Product teams
• Bachelor's Degree
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool)
• Experience with Amplitude or similar event-based platforms
• Background in subscription models

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Create strong business partnerships through stakeholder interviews and solution designs
• Design, implement, and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and end-user tools using advanced visualization tools like Qlik, Dash Enterprise, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis of business problems and data issues to formulate recommendations for business improvement and technical efficiency
• Identify and implement avenues to optimize and enhance data analysis, interpretation, and visualization tools
• Design and implement new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve business KPI, metrics unity, and end-user adoption
• Partner with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Management teams to improve data completeness, usability, and performance
