Duration: 1 Year (May 18, 2026 – May 17, 2027)
Extension: 2 additional 1-year extensions (Total up to 3 years)
Hours: ~2000 hours/year (Full-Time)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 08:15 AM – 04:30 PM (Alberta Time)
TheSenior Business Analyst Consultant will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, supporting the development and enhancement of digital services within ASHC. This role focuses onAgile delivery, business analysis, and digital transformation initiatives across enterprise-level projects.
The consultant will play a critical role inrequirements gathering, user story development, backlog management, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring delivery of high-value business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and documentbusiness and system requirements
- Write and refineuser stories and acceptance criteria
- Manage and prioritize theproduct backlog
- Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and backlog grooming
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate delivery
- Leadstakeholder engagement and requirement workshops
- SupportUser Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation activities
- Preparereports, documentation, and business analysis artifacts
- Drivedigital service improvements and continuous enhancement initiatives
- Act as liaison betweenbusiness and technical teams
- Minimum10+ years of Business Analyst experience
- Strong experience inAgile / iterative environments
- Proven expertise in:
- User story writing
- Backlog management
- Requirements elicitation
- Stakeholder management
- Experience working inenterprise-level projects
- Degree or Diploma in:
- Business Administration
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Or related field
- Certifications such as:
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
- PMI-PBA
- Prosci (Change Management)
- Experience inGovernment / Public Sector environments
- Experience withMicrosoft Dynamics 365 or similar platforms
