Description:

We are seeking aSenior Automation Engineer with12+ years of experience supportingDeltaV DCS automation in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have strongDeltaV Batch experience, hands-on commissioning and qualification (C&Q) expertise, and the ability to troubleshoot live manufacturing issues while ensuring compliance with GMP and validation standards.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Serve as an onsite DeltaV Automation Engineer supporting C&Q execution activities.
• Work independently to troubleshoot, configure, and support DeltaV control system logic, phases, and automation components during commissioning and qualification.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior and intermediate engineers.
• Support C&Q activities including test execution, issue investigation, remediation, and re-test preparation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional onsite teams to ensure automation behavior aligns with approved Functional Specifications and test expectations.
• Respond to automation-related issues during commissioning and qualification activities.
• Identify automation issues, recommend technical solutions, and support implementation through change control.
• Maintain compliance with GMP requirements and site procedures throughout project execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical, Chemical, or a related field.
• 12+ years of automation engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience withEmerson DeltaV Batch in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience supporting live manufacturing environments during commissioning and qualification.
• Deep understanding of GMP, validation, ISA-88, and GAMP standards.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
