Job Summary

Aprio is seeking a Senior Associate to join ourCAAS | Back Office Solutions team, where you will apply your bookkeeping expertise to support the accuracy and integrity of client financial operations. In this role, you will focus on cash management, general ledger review, and month-end bank reconciliations while contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team. You will also play an active role in developing junior staff, creating a direct impact on both client outcomes and team capability. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor cash activity, including client deposits and sales, to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • Review and validate general ledger entries and account coding for accuracy and consistency
  • Prepare and submit month-end bank reconciliations for client accounts
  • Train and onboard new staff members to support team effectiveness and consistency
  • Support the 1099 preparation process for clientsProvide backup coverage across team functions as neededAssist with special projects as assigned

Candidate Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of bookkeeping experienceWorking knowledge of general ledger and bank reconciliation processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt to shifting demands
  • Strong critical thinking skills with an aptitude for learning and navigating new software platforms
  • Preferred: Experience with double-entry bookkeeping
