Summary
Company is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the bioanalytical Sciences group of the PKDM-BA department in Thousand Oaks. This lab-based role will involve performing experiments, organizing data, and analyzing results. The position requires strong documentation experience and the ability to work within a GMP and GLP environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills are also required.
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform immunoassays/ELISAs.
- Participate in method validations.
- Prepare and analyze biological samples.
- Analyze own data and interpret results.
- Develop solutions to technical problems under GxP regulations with some supervision.
- Document and communicate results effectively.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences.
- Minimum 3 years of laboratory-based research experience in academic or industrial labs under GxP regulations.
- Strong pipetting technique.
- Hands-on experience and knowledge in ELISA/immunoassays or ECL.
Skills
- Hands-on experience and knowledge in ELISA/immunoassays.
- Ability to operate specialized laboratory equipment.
- Good computer skills.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Highly motivated, creative, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experience in a highly collaborative research and development environment.
- Automation system experience (Hamilton or Tecam liquid handler) is a plus.
Pay Transparency:The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $25.00 - $26.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
