About The Job:
- We are seeking a hands-on MS SQL / ETL and .NET Developer with strong experience in database development, data warehousing, and enterprise application development.
- The role requires expertise in MS SQL, ETL, Stored Procedures, data mapping and data lineage, along with hands-on .NET development experience. Exposure to SSIS, IBM Netezza, Cognos, Oracle, and other database technologies will be an advantage.
- The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the Banking/Financial Services domain, strong communication skills, and the flexibility to support the US Shift (6:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST).

Essential Job Functions:
- Design, develop, and support ETL processes, data integration solutions, and enterprise data warehouse components.
- Develop and optimize complex MS SQL Stored Procedures, functions, queries, and database objects.
- Build end-to-end ETL solutions from scratch and support existing data pipelines.
- Perform data mapping, data validation, data lineage analysis, and reconciliation activities.
- Develop and support enterprise applications using the .NET Framework.
- Work with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Support data warehouse development and reporting requirements.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Support deployments, enhancements, testing, and ongoing maintenance activities.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support during US business hours.
Qualifications:
Required Skills
- 9+ years of strong hands-on experience in MS SQL ETL development and Stored Procedure coding, with the ability to develop solutions from scratch.
- Strong experience across multiple database technologies, with MS SQL being mandatory.
- Exposure to IBM Netezza, Oracle, or similar database platforms is an advantage.
- Good understanding of data flow and data lineage, preferably within the Banking/Financial Services domain.
- Hands-on experience in Data Warehouse development, data mapping, and ETL processes.
- Experience with IBM Netezza, Cognos, or Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Strong full-stack development and coding experience.
- Hands-on development experience with the .NET Framework.
- Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to support US Shift (6:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Banking / Financial Services domain knowledge is highly preferred.
