Senior APIs and Integration Engineer

We are seeking aSenior APIs and Integration Engineer to manage complex supply chain and partner messaging networks, configuring integration interfaces to major 3PL logistics partners and executing EDI-style trading-partner connections, unit testing, and defect triage across global warehousing and transport networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and configure enterprise integration flows connecting core supply chain hubs to major 3PL logistics partners (DB Schenker, DHL, Mainfreight, Penske, MNX Global Logistics, Geodis)
• Manage and configure EDI-style trading-partner profiles, document types, processing rules, and envelope handling via webMethods Trading Networks
• Utilize AI-powered EDI translation auditing tools and automated syntax validation scripts to verify ANSI X12 and EDIFACT compliance prior to deployment
• Develop complementary REST/SOAP APIs and configure SAP IDoc/ALE integration flows (despatch advices, advance shipping notices, warehouse orders) supporting logistics operations
• Execute rigorous unit testing, validate end-to-end B2B document flows, and actively support SIT/UAT defect resolution
• Participate in migration rehearsals, validate trading-partner connectivity, and provide dedicated operational support during go-live execution

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on development and administration experience using webMethods Trading Networks, Integration Server, and B2B processing rules
• Knowledge of industry-standard EDI formats, specifically EDIFACT and ANSI X12 envelope structures and message mappings
• Background in integrating third-party logistics providers, warehouse management systems (WMS), and transport management systems (TMS)
• Familiarity with SAP IDoc/ALE configurations for supply chain/logistics modules (MM, SD, EWM) and REST/SOAP API development
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted mapping tools, automated B2B testing scripts, and intelligent integration monitoring platforms
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience working on M&A IT carve-outs, corporate divestitures, or supply-chain separation programs
• Familiarity with enterprise integration inventories (Ardoq) and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines
• Certifications in webMethods or enterprise B2B integration architectures
