Key Responsibilities
Data Modeling & Analytics Engineering
- Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data models, transformations, aggregations, and materializations to support CDP and marketing data requirements.
- Build and maintain data structures using Snowflake views, dynamic tables, semantic views, stored procedures, and other appropriate technologies.
- Write advanced, performance-optimized SQL to transform, integrate, validate, and prepare data for downstream applications.
- Develop and maintain Snowflake stored procedures and supporting utilities using Python, JavaScript, or Snowflake Scripting, with a preference for Python.
- Continuously improve data models and structures as marketing, ecommerce, and customer data requirements evolve.
- Develop a strong understanding of marketing and ecommerce data, including Google Analytics events, web behavioral activity, campaign interactions, customer identifiers, transactions, and order data.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand CDP use cases, customer data requirements, and downstream marketing activation needs.
- Assess whether available source data can support requested business outcomes, considering data completeness, granularity, timeliness, identifiers, and structural limitations.
