What you'll do...

Role Summary:

TheSenior Analyst, Supply Chain Management, plays a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods across Walmart's supply chain network. This position partners with carriers, suppliers, distribution centers, fulfillment centers, and cross-functional stakeholders to support transportation execution, resolve operational challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Through data-driven decision-making and operational expertise, the Senior Analyst identifies opportunities to improve service, reduce waste, increase network efficiency, and strengthen partnerships across the supply chain. This role directly supports Walmart's commitment to Every Day Low Price (EDLP) and Every Day Low Cost (EDLC) by helping ensure products move through the network safely, efficiently, and reliably to better serve customers.

About the Team:

The Inbound Transportation Operations team supports the movement of freight across Walmart's transportation network, partnering closely with suppliers, carriers, distribution centers, fulfillment centers, and field operations teams. Our mission is to deliver operational excellence while creating mutually beneficial solutions that improve service, reliability, and supply chain efficiency. What You'll Do

  • Partner with carries, suppliers, distribution centers, fulfillment centers, and cross-functional stakeholders to support transportation operations and network execution
  • Lead resolution of transportation and supply chain exceptions, ensuring timely and effective solutions that minimize disruptions and improve service levels.
  • Analyze operational and network performance data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive initiatives that improve transportation efficiency, network reliability, supplier compliance, and overall supply chain performance.
  • Serve as a trusted business partner and liaison between internal and external stakeholders to align operational activities with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement scalable process improvements that support productivity, service, cost savings, and operational excellence.
  • Support strategic and tactical initiatives designed to enhance the movement of freight across Walmart's supply chain network.
  • Influence stakeholders through data, insights, and operational expertise to achieve shared business goals.
  • Champion continuous improvement principles that help reduce waste, optimize resources, and support Walmart's EDLP and EDLC commitments.
  • Foster strong relationships built on trust, collaboration, and accountability while supporting a customer-focused culture.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in supply chain, transportation, logistics, operations, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Ability to manage operational challenges in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Experience collaborating across teams and influencing stakeholders to drive results.
  • Knowledge of transportation operations, carrier management, supplier collaboration, distribution, fulfillment, or network planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization and build strong partnerships internally and externally.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, operational excellence, and serving customers through efficient supply chain execution.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
