The Role
Fidelity Investments has a Senior Analyst opening that represents an outstanding opportunity to accelerate an individual’s career in data and technology by providing oversight and analysis to protect customer information at one of the top tier financial service companies in America.

- Support the implementation and enhancement of data governance policies and controls governing data access, sharing, proper use, data use for artificial intelligence, data minimization, and automated policy enforcement.
- Review business activities and access requests for alignment with client commitments, internal policies, and applicable requirements; support related oversight platforms, document decisions, monitor exceptions, and escalate complex matters.
- Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Architecture, Relationship Management, and other partners to support emerging regulatory, policy, and client requirements.
- Analyze data access, usage, sharing, and minimization risks; document findings, recommend corrective actions, and track remediation.
- Support governance technology, client data protection, and assurance initiatives, including requirements documentation, control testing, audit readiness, and ISO and SOC certifications.
- Measure and monitor program effectiveness and prepare metrics, documentation, reporting, and presentations for senior team members and governance partners.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with approximately five years in data governance, compliance, audit, risk, privacy, or a related field.
- Experience interpreting policies, regulatory requirements, or client commitments.
- Working knowledge of data governance practices related to data access, sharing, use, and protection.
- Experience with governance, access-management, compliance, or workflow platforms.
- Ability to explain governance processes and controls to auditors and other partners.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with sound judgment on when to raise concerns.

The mission of the Customer Protection is to protect the Workplace community of thousands of plan sponsors and millions of participants on our retirement and benefits platforms.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
