Senior AI Software Developer

We are seeking aSenior AI Software Developer to design, build, and integrate business-critical applications within a Microsoft Azure environment. This role will focus on developing cloud-native enterprise applications, incorporating AI-assisted development practices, and integrating applications with SAP and other enterprise systems.

Required Skills

· Strong experience developing and supportingenterprise-grade software applications

· Strong development experience withGo (Golang) andPython

· Experience building and deployingcloud-native applications in Microsoft Azure

· Demonstrated experience integrating enterprise applications withSAP ERP and/or SAP S/4HANA

· Experience with SAP integration methods such asAPIs, middleware, messaging, OData, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, or similar SAP integration patterns

· Experience usingAI-assisted software development tools, such as:

o OpenAI Codex

o Claude Code

o GitHub Copilot

o Similar AI coding and software engineering tools

· Experience developing applications or technical solutions forconsumer goods, manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, or related industries

· Strong understanding ofSQL, relational databases, database schemas, and application-to-database integration

· Experience working withPostgreSQL or similar relational database technologies

· Understanding ofapplication-specific databases, shared databases, data ownership, and database integration patterns

· Strong understanding ofcaching architecture, including:

o Distributed caching

o Cache invalidation strategies

o Cache-aside patterns

o Application performance optimization

o Technologies such as Redis or equivalent platforms

· Fluent or professional working proficiency inEnglish is required for written documentation, technical discussions, collaboration, and stakeholder communication.

Azure & Integration Experience

Experience developing applications that operate within an Azure architecture incorporating technologies such as:

·Azure API Management (APIM)

·Azure Service Bus

·Azure Event Hubs

·Azure Database for PostgreSQL

· Application-specific and centralized database architectures

·Microsoft Entra ID

· Identity and Access Management (IAM)

·Azure Key Vault

· Azure networking and secure application connectivity

· Monitoring, logging, and application observability

· CI/CD and automated cloud deployment

Candidates should understand bothsynchronous API integration andasynchronous/event-driven architectures.

AI Development & Integration

· Experience incorporatingAI capabilities into enterprise applications

· Experience integrating applications with LLMs or AI services

· Understanding ofAI agents, tool/function calling, RAG, and enterprise data retrieval

· Ability to securely integrate AI applications with enterprise APIs, databases, SAP, and other internal systems

· Understanding of data privacy, security, access controls, and governance for enterprise AI solutions

· Experience using AI tools as part of thesoftware development lifecycle, including code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and code review

Architecture & Engineering Knowledge

· Strong understanding ofREST APIs and enterprise integration patterns

· Experience withmicroservices and distributed application architectures

· Understanding of asynchronous messaging and event-driven systems

· Knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect

· Understanding of application resiliency, retry handling, fault tolerance, scalability, and high availability

· Ability to design maintainable application and database architectures

· Experience troubleshooting application, integration, database, and cloud-platform issues

Preferred Experience

· Experience developing software for aconsumer goods manufacturer

· Experience withSAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite/CPI, SAP MDG, SAP Variant Configuration, or other SAP functional/technical domains

· Experience integrating SAP withmanufacturing, order-management, MES, WMS, or shop-floor systems

· Experience withRedis or other distributed caching technologies

· Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containers, and cloud-native deployment practices

· Experience taking AI-enabled applications from prototype throughproduction deployment
