Senior Advisor / Consultant – Network Infrastructure

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor / Network Consultant to support a large enterprise client in strengthening and optimizing their network infrastructure operations. This role will focus on defining operational processes, implementing change management best practices, and advising on network design and tooling strategies.

This is a high-priority engagement requiring a consultant who can quickly assess current network operations and provide strategic and operational improvements within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement operational processes for the network organization

• Establish change management best practices related to network infrastructure

• Provide guidance on enterprise network design standards and best practices

• Evaluate and recommend network tools and technologies

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve network governance and operational efficiency

• Manage and coordinate with vendors and external partners

• Advise leadership on building and maintaining a high-performing network operations organization

Required Experience

• Proven experience working within large enterprise IT environments

• Strong background in network operations, architecture, and infrastructure best practices

• Demonstrated expertise in building and improving network processes and change management frameworks

• Experience with network design best practices

• Experience managing vendors and technology partners

• Ability to evaluate and select appropriate network tools

Work Arrangement

• 3 days onsite in Jenison

• 2 days remote per week

• Travel expenses covered for non-local candidates

Contract Details

• Initial contract: 9 months

• Start date: Immediate / ASAP
