Essential Job Functions:
- Leads the data science and predictive analytics activities for the manufacturing monitoring use case.
- Assesses available historical manufacturing/process data for quality, completeness and predictive feasibility.
- Works with manufacturing/process SMEs to understand CPPs, process behavior and relevant operating context.
- Performs exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, anomalies and potential drivers of process outcomes.
- Defines appropriate modeling approaches for HPLC Yield and Column Pressure optimization.
- Develops, evaluates and refines predictive/statistical models using manufacturing process data.
- Supports definition of drift detection, anomaly/nonconformance identification and monitoring insights.
- Translates model outputs into interpretable insights that can be surfaced through the real-time monitoring solution.
- Collaborates closely with ADS, data engineering, backend, frontend and delivery teams.
- Clearly communicates modeling assumptions, data limitations, results and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Must haves
- Experience: 6-9 Yrs
- Strong hands-on experience in data science, statistical modeling and predictive analytics.
- Strong Python skills and experience working with structured / time-series / process data.
- Experience in exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model development and model evaluation.
- Able to work with complex historical datasets and assess whether available data is suitable for predictive modeling.
- Understanding of anomaly detection, trend analysis or process-monitoring analytics.
- Strong SQL / data-analysis skills.
- Experience collaborating with data engineers and application development teams.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience with manufacturing / process manufacturing data.
- Understanding of Critical Process Parameters, process monitoring or Statistical Process Control (SPC) concepts.
- Pharmaceutical / life-sciences manufacturing experience.
- Exposure to HPLC / process analytical data would be advantageous.
