Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts receivable process, including billing, collections, and cash applications
- Lead collection efforts and partner with customers to resolve outstanding balances
- Research and resolve AR discrepancies, unapplied cash, billing issues, and account reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries related to accounts receivable and cash transactions
- Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting
- Assist with annual audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
- Monitor aging reports and provide recommendations to improve cash flow and reduce DSO
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collections
- Identify opportunities to improve AR processes and internal controls
- 5+ years of progressive accounts receivable and accounting experience
- Experience managing billing, collections, and cash applications in a high-volume environment
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles, journal entries, and month-end close
- Experience supporting external audits and preparing audit schedules
- Proven ability to investigate and resolve complex AR discrepancies
- NetSuite experience preferred
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
