Senior Accountant

Our client, one of the leading corporate service providers in Malta, is currently looking for aSenior Accountantto join their team. You will be part of a dynamic team supporting a largely international client base across a wide range of industries, as well as the firm’s private clients. It’s a great fit for someone who wants to broaden their experience and enjoys a challenge.

This is ahybrid role offering a salary of up to €50K.

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting tasks, prepare financial reports, and keep all records up to date

• Train and support junior members of the accounting team

• Handle financial and management accounting for clients

• Prepare VAT returns and manage related VAT compliance

• Prepare corporate income tax computations and returns

• Report regularly to management

• Manage a diverse portfolio of companies

Education, Skills & Experience

• Fully qualified accountant

• 2+ years of relevant experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Maltese and English

• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Able to meet deadlines and deliver a high standard of service to clients
