Are you aCPA with strong accounting and financial analysis experience who enjoys working at the intersection of accounting, real estate and asset management?
Our client is looking for aReal Estate Accounting Analyst to provide accounting, financial reporting and analytical support for a diversified portfolio ofcommercial and residential real estate assets across Canada and the United States.
Reporting to theVice President, Finance & Asset Management, this role offers the opportunity to work across property operations, budgeting, forecasting, acquisitions, refinancing, financial modelling and asset management.

You'll play an important role in analyzing property performance and supporting financial decision-making across the portfolio.
🎓 What We're Looking For
✔️CPA designation required
✔️ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
✔️7–10 years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience
✔️ Commercial or residential real estate experience preferred
✔️ Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling
✔️ Experience preparing or assisting with financial consolidations
✔️ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
✔️ Strong written and verbal communication skills
✔️ Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
⭐ Preferred Experience
Experience with any of the following would be an asset:
• Property management software such asYardi, MRI or similar
• Canadian corporate accounting
• Canadian corporate tax and year-end working papers
• U.S. LIHTC properties
• U.S. tax reporting and compliance
• Acquisitions, dispositions and refinancing
• Real estate asset management
• Financial reporting and portfolio analysis
🌎 A Role With Broader Exposure
This position supports real estate assets acrossCanada and the United States, providing exposure to property operations, lenders, external accountants, consultants and senior management.
Limited travel to U.S. properties will be required from time to time for property visits and meetings.
💰 Compensation
$100,000–$125,000 CAD
