Senior Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking an experiencedAccountant to manage full-cycle accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, tax compliance, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have strongQuickBooks experience, a solid understanding ofU.S. GAAP, and experience supporting accounting operations within a manufacturing or technology environment. Experience withERP migrations, Oracle EBS, and M&A/acquired-entity accounting is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Accounting

• Manage full-cycle accounting activities inQuickBooks, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Processvendor invoices/accounts payable (AP) andcustomer invoices/accounts receivable (AR) accurately and timely.
• Process vendor payments and manage payment schedules in accordance with contractual terms.
• Perform regularbank account and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare and post monthlyaccruals, provisions, and adjusting journal entries.
• Support an accurate and timelymonth-end close.
• Maintain compliance withU.S. GAAP and applicable internal accounting policies.

Payroll & Tax Compliance

• Calculate and process payroll for approximately19 employees directly through QuickBooks according to the applicable payroll schedule.
• Calculate and remit applicablefederal, state, and local payroll taxes.
• Prepare required payroll-related filings and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthlymanagement reports and financial summaries for accounting and finance leadership.
• Ensure financial information is accurate, complete, and properly documented.

ERP Transition & Systems Support

• Support high-level coordination and data validation activities associated with theERP transition from QuickBooks to Oracle EBS.
• Partner with Financial Systems and Controllership teams on:
  • ERP integration milestones
  • Data validation
  • Process documentation
  • Accounting system transition activities
• Assist with accounting-related integration activities as needed.

Collaboration

• Partner effectively with accounting, finance, and financial systems teams.
• Maintain a positive and professional working environment.
• Demonstrate strong communication, accountability, and collaboration in all interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Accounting preferred.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.
• Strong hands-on experience withQuickBooks.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting, including:
  • General ledger
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable

  • Payroll taxes
  • Journal entries
  • Accruals
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Month-end close
  • Financial reporting
• Knowledge ofU.S. GAAP.
• Experience supportingERP migrations or system transitions, such as QuickBooks to Oracle EBS or a similar platform.
• Familiarity withOracle EBS preferred.
• Manufacturing or technology industry experience preferred.
• Experience within anM&A integration or acquired-entity accounting environment preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
