Position Summary
This position supports the organization's mission of enhancing quality of life by ensuring the accurate and timely posting of financial and statistical data into accounting and reporting systems. The role is responsible for preparing and submitting required financial and operational reports based on this data.
Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.

Position Requirements
Education
-
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
OR -
Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
Experience
-
3β4 years of accounting or finance experience
Technical & Special Qualifications

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Proficient in Microsoft Word

10-key by touch

Intermediate general ledger skills
-
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

Strong multitasking and prioritization skills

Effective communication skills

Healthcare industry experience preferred
Supervision
This position operates under general guidance and direction from the Assistant Controller. The employee is expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
Patient Interaction & Responsibility
This position requires an understanding of growth and developmental needs across all patient age groups and the ability to respond appropriately to patients and families.
However, this role hasno direct responsibility for patient care or treatment.
Working Conditions
Work may occur in hospital rooms, clinical and non-clinical departments, common areas, and hospital grounds.
