About the Role

Are you a creative, detail‑driven designer who thrives on transforming concepts into exceptional 3D exhibition experiences?

We’re looking for a highly skilledSenior-Level 3D Exhibition Designer to join our team atExpo Centric. This role is ideal for someone who excels at interpreting briefs, developing immersive 3D exhibition concepts, and delivering high-quality design outcomes from pitch to build. You’ll collaborate closely with account managers, project teams, and fellow designers to create visually compelling, technically accurate exhibition stands that deliver real impact.

What You'll Do in the Role

• Interpret client briefs and model exhibition stand designs in 3D.
• Create 3D visualisations and renders using Corona Renderer or equivalent tools, as well as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Produce comprehensive Design Presentation documents including elevations, annotated floorplans, and supporting material such as mood boards, spec sheets, and animations.
• Generate costing sheets to support the account management team.
• Collaborate closely with design managers and team members to gather feedback and refine concepts.
• Maximise cost efficiency by effectively utilising inventory and monitoring rental inventory calendars.
• Use AI tools to streamline and enhance the design process.
• Produce 3D visual assets for marketing and other business units when needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to hand over projects clearly and ensure the final build reflects design intent.
• Adapt to new processes and technologies, including Revit and automation tools.

Additional Senior-Level Responsibilities:

• Independently qualify sales leads and collect comprehensive client briefs.
• Assess the viability of projects based on resources, feasibility, and budget before design begins.
• Mentor junior designers, providing guidance, feedback, and leadership.

Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills (Required):

• Minimum 5 years of experience in exhibition, trade show, or related 3D design fields.
• Proficiency in 3D rendering software (Corona Render or similar) and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Expertise in 3D modelling programs such as 3ds Max; Revit experience is highly regarded.

Technical Skills (Nice to Have):

• Knowledge of modular exhibition systems (Octanorm, Syma, Aluvision, beMatrix).
• Understanding of fabrication methods, materials, and exhibition build standards.

Design Skills:

• Ability to develop functional, creative stand concepts that align with client brand guidelines.
• Strong visual sensibility and attention to detail.

Design Skills (Nice to Have):

• Ability to identify potential project issues through detailed review.
• Understanding of project viability (resources, budget, feasibility).

Communication & Professional Skills:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across stakeholders.
• Effective time management under tight deadlines.
• Confidence in client brief collection and asking the right framing questions (nice to have).
