Responsible for driving and sustaining key digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives in global manufacturing operations by leveraging data analytics, software integration, and artificial intelligence. This position ensures alignment between manufacturing priorities, technology initiatives, and business needs, enabling smarter operations, improved resource utilization, and sustained global expansion of digital manufacturing capabilities.

What you will do

1. Data Analytics & Digital Solution Development

• Design and develop end-to-end data solutions covering data acquisition, transformation, storage, analysis, visualization and distribution.

• Design and develop dashboards and visualization solutions for manufacturing KPIs, operational performance, process monitoring and process control.

• Develop and maintain data pipelines integrating operational systems, databases and other relevant data sources.

• Develop web-based frontend interfaces for operational reporting.

• Apply statistical analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC), trend analysis and predictive analytics to monitor manufacturing performance, identify abnormalities and support proactive decision-making.

• Support and sustain existing Business Intelligence solutions, data pipelines and analytics architecture required for daily Manufacturing Operations.

• Perform software testing and validation and prepare the required technical and quality documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable quality systems.

2. Workflow Optimization & Continuous Improvement

• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering and other operational stakeholders to identify opportunities for digitalization, workflow optimization and process improvement.

• Analyze current-state manufacturing processes, workflows, information flows and system interactions to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and non-value-added activities.

• Design and digitalize future-state workflows to simplify processes, eliminate waste and improve operational effectiveness.

• Use manufacturing and operational data to identify trends, recurring issues and improvement opportunities.

• Support the establishment of data-driven ways of working and continuous improvement practices within Operations.

3. Digital Improvement & Capital Project Management

• Gather business requirements and define, develop and lead digital transformation initiatives from ideation and concept development through implementation and production deployment.

• Assess technology opportunities and develop business cases by defining the operational problem, expected benefits, investment requirements, risks and implementation approach.

• Lead or support manufacturing systems implementation, enhancement, migration and upgrade projects.

• Lead stakeholder engagement across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and IT, as well as external suppliers, technology providers and system integrators.

• Document user requirements and coordinate technical evaluation, solution design, testing, deployment and production handover.

• Support change management, communication, training and user adoption to ensure successful implementation and sustainable use of new solutions.

4. AI Adoption & Applied AI

• Partner with Manufacturing Operations stakeholders to translate business and operational problems into practical AI opportunities and initiatives.

• Identify and assess potential AI use cases based on business value, technical feasibility, data readiness, risk and scalability.

• Scope, design, and execute AI Proof-of-Concept (POC) and pilot projects.

• Apply AI concepts and technologies to practical manufacturing and operational scenarios.

• Support Operations teams in understanding and adopting AI-enabled ways of working.

What you bring

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Experience in manufacturing digitalization, data engineering, business intelligence, industrial software, manufacturing systems or operational technology.

• Experience delivering digital or analytics solutions from initial requirement gathering through development, testing and deployment.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.

• Experience leading or coordinating technical projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.

• Experience working in medical device, pharmaceutical, life sciences or another regulated manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
