As aTemporary Security Supervisor, you will oversee overnight security operations at a medical college campus in Philadelphia. You will lead a team of officers, monitor surveillance systems, and make sure students, staff, and visitors stay safe while threats are stopped before they escalate.

  • Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:00PM (40 Hours Per Week)

Responsibilities of a Security Supervisor:

• Supervise and direct security officers on shift, including post assignments and breaks
• Conduct shift briefings and make sure officers know post orders and site procedures
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems to detect suspicious activity
• Conduct regular patrols of campus buildings and grounds
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Respond quickly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, and take charge on scene
• Review officer reports and write detailed incident reports
• Report security system malfunctions or vulnerabilities
• Act as a point of contact for site management and collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of a Security Supervisor:

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience in security, crowd management, public safety, military, or law enforcement preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp attention to detail and exceptional concentration skills
• Comfortable with technology, including CCTV and access control systems
• You have a state license if required
