Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Operations Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of municipal service and public-facing operations throughout Southern California. This role offers the opportunity to lead multiple contracts, manage a large workforce, build strong client relationships, and oversee critical operational resources across several locations. This position will oversee approximately 100 employees and a fleet of roughly 30 vehicles while supporting multiple client sites throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support approximately 100 employees across multiple locations.
• Manage site leaders, supervisors, and operational staff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and community partners.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure operational excellence and employee engagement.
• Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning efforts.
• Train personnel on site-specific requirements and operational procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service concerns, and urgent operational matters.
• Oversee fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, and readiness.
• Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with client expectations.
• Balance competing priorities across multiple locations while maintaining service quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing multi-site operations, security, parking enforcement, municipal services, or similar service-based contracts.
• Strong background leading dispersed teams across multiple locations.
• Experience managing client-facing operations and maintaining professional stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Experience supporting recruiting and staffing initiatives.
• Knowledge of incident management and operational escalation procedures.
• Experience overseeing vehicle fleets, maintenance programs, or mobile operations.
• Comfortable working with government agencies, public-sector clients, or law-enforcement-related environments.

Work Environment and Travel

• Regular travel between assigned client sites throughout Southern California.
• Personal vehicle required for site visits.
• Primarily Monday-Friday schedule, with flexibility to respond to urgent operational issues after hours when needed.
• Combination of office, field, and client-site work.
