Security Analyst II

Primary Location: Madison, WI

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for aSecurity Analyst II for our premier client inMadison, WI.

Education and Experience:

IT Security – 4 to 7 years

Knowledge and Skills:

Tenable administration – expert knowledge (This experience was often missed in the original posting)
Strong attention to detail
IT Security
CrowdStrike administration – expert knowledge

Nice to Have Skills:

CISSP or equivalent – 1 year

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:

Monitor and process incident response queues.
Manage endpoint firewall operation and adjust as necessary.
Work independently as well as within a team environment
Research vendor offerings and conduct proof of concepts.
Coordinate with other teams to implement new technologies and remediate issues.
Monitor asset inventory, installed agents, and status of devices.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
