Secret-Cleared Senior Systems Engineers – Radar

PGS Worldwide is seekingSecret-Cleared Senior Systems Engineers – Radar in Woburn, Massachusetts for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will support development and modernization of advanced radar and missile-defense sensor systems, including system architecture, requirements development, modeling, algorithm analysis, and verification.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.

• Active U.S. GovernmentSecret clearance required to start.

• Direct experience withradar or missile-defense sensor systems.

• Experience developing system architectures and system-level requirements.

• Proficiency withMATLAB orAda, C, or C++ for algorithm development, system modeling, or performance analysis.

• Hands-on experience with system modeling, algorithm design, test-vector development, or radar performance analysis.

• Experience leading technical work and contributing to architecture or design decisions.

• Experience developing or maintaining engineering processes, methods, or tools.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical writing, and presentation skills.

• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced STEM degree.

• Experience with radar detection, discrimination, tracking, or signal-processing algorithms.

• Model-Based Systems Engineering experience usingCameo.

• Requirements-management experience usingDOORS, including multi-level traceability.

• Linux-based engineering or development experience.

• Agile experience using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

• Experience leading technical customer engagements.

What You’ll Do

• Develop system architectures and system-level requirements for advanced radar systems.

• Support architectural updates, performance requirements, algorithm descriptions, and verification strategies.

• Perform requirements analysis, modeling, simulation, and benchmarking.

• Evaluate algorithm and overall system performance.

• Develop engineering artifacts supporting system design and verification.

• Collaborate with software, integration, and test teams to deliver radar-system capabilities.

• Support technical reviews, engineering documentation, and customer presentations.

• Help resolve complex multidisciplinary systems-engineering challenges.

Pay

• $86.83 per hour.
