Secret-Cleared C++ Software Engineer

PGS Worldwide is seekingSecret-Cleared C++ Software Engineers in Santa Fe Springs, California for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will support the full software development lifecycle for real-time military and commercial systems, including design, development, integration, test, and maintenance.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Active U.S. GovernmentSecret clearance required to start.

• StrongC++ software development experience.

• Experience developing, testing, and integratingreal-time software applications.

• Experience developing onLinux, VxWorks, or other real-time operating systems.

• Experience with scripting languages such asShell, Perl, or Python.

• Experience troubleshooting complex software and system-integration issues.

• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience withC, C#, Java, or related programming languages.

• Experience working with physical hardware, test benches, or simulators in a lab environment.

• Agile/Scrum software development experience.

• Experience withDevSecOps, CI/CD, static code analysis, automated builds, and automated testing.

• Experience withGit and GitLab.

• Experience developing withCUDA for NVIDIA GPU acceleration.

What You’ll Do

• Support software development from requirements and design through integration and test.

• Develop and maintain real-time applications in C++.

• Work with systems engineers to develop solutions that meet operational and end-user requirements.

• Integrate software with complex hardware and system environments.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software and system-integration issues.

• Support new and legacy software throughout the product lifecycle.

• Develop scripts and automation supporting software development and testing.

• Participate in Agile development and continuous-integration activities.

Pay

• $94.86 per hour.
