The opportunity:

Hitachi Energy PQS Electrical Engineering (EE) is responsible for the full cycle project engineering execution, designing of MACH hardware control and Protectionsystem, IED based conventional control Protection system, Configuration & testing of Protection system, Auxiliary AC & DC system design including MV/LV Switchboards, Battery systems, Junction boxes and LV Cable sizing and estimation through innovative and reliable solution.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Execute project within budget by meeting all KPI's (Quality, OTD, Efficiency, Budget).Design & execute the project in line with customer specification / FACTS standard/Global standardsViz IEC, ANSI, IEEE etc.

• Preparation of MACH based control and protection system cubicle design andIED based control and protection system cubicle design andFACTS Plant design drawings (Secondary).

• Designing and estimation of Aux. AC & DC power requirements and LV, MV Switch boards including battery systems, UPS, and Voltage stabilizers.

• Estimation & Sizing of LV Aux. power, control cables, communication cables & Indication cables.Purchasing of cubicles, cables, Junction boxes, AC & DC switch boards, MV Switchgear, Batterysystem, UPS & Voltage stabilizers etc.

• Co-ordination with other departments (Mech. / Control / System Design/ Commissioning).Validation of the time schedule (EE Dept.) for a project.

• Review and coordination with vendor/supplier drawings for Electrical deliverables including primaryequipment.Evaluation of sub-supplier and selection as per project requirement and sub-supplier and selection as per project requirement.

• Involving in customer FAT according to project demand andInvolving in Site support and commissioning support as per requirement and preparation of As Built Drawings.

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 6 - 10 years of experience in Substationsecondary/EPC design or project execution orHVDC control & protection hardware design.

• Experience in secondary engineering and EPCexecution experience andElectrical Grid Industry (Switchyardequipment).

• Experience in Substation/FACTS Project experienceor similar field andE3 design tool or Similar design toolhandling andin Cable engineering.

• Knowledge & Experience MS Office: Word, Excel. Valuable experience in Control and Protectioncubicle design.

• Self-starter caliber who could own tasks through tocompletion.Strong attention to detail.

• Individual contributor using in-depth knowledge in aspecific area to execute complex or specializedprojects / challenges often thinking independently tochallenge traditional solutions.

• Comprehensive knowledge of related disciplines inthe organization.Works independently, applying established local &global standards.

• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
