SE3- Watch Desk Engineer

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our growing team.   The positions require candidates to develop, maintain and enhance complex and diverse systems as part of a team of engineers.

• Linux and command-line proficiency
• Hardware, software, network, and data-flow troubleshooting
• Clear communication and documentation
• Ability to follow and maintain SOPs, prioritize incidents, and work independently in a 24×7 environment.

• Jira, Confluence, Rancher, Elasticsearch, Redis, NiFi
• Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, virtualization
• Monitoring tools such as Nagios, Grafana, and Prometheus.

• Monitor system health, availability, performance, and data pipelines
• Investigate alerts and incidents; perform authorized recovery actions; escalate unresolved issues
• Maintain tickets, shift logs, SOPs, metrics, and reports; provide concise status updates and effective shift handoffs.

• Security+ required, or must be obtained within six months.

Requirements

• 20+yrs of experience as an engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 4 years SWE experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree
• TS/SCI w/ poly Clearance Required

** Salary between $210,000 - $250,000, based on qualifications
