SDET - Sr. SQA - (Systems Integration Selenium + Python + API Automation)

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements and create comprehensive test strategies, scenarios, and test cases.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium and Python.
• Develop and execute automated API tests for RESTful and web services.
• Perform end-to-end, functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
• Validate data flow and integrations across multiple systems and services.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and perform root-cause analysis of application and integration issues.
• Execute automated and manual test cases and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and other QA engineers to resolve defects.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure automation scripts follow coding and quality standards.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Maintain test automation documentation, test results, defect reports, and quality metrics.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks, test coverage, and overall testing efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / SDET / SQA roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with API automation and testing using tools/frameworks such as REST Assured, Requests, Postman, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, XML, and web services.
• Good experience in Systems Integration and end-to-end integration testing.
• Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with SQL and database validation.
• Good understanding of Git and version control.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes.
• Good defect management, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills.
