Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SDET / Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in test automation, software development, and quality engineering. The ideal candidate will have advanced programming skills in Java and JavaScript, hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, API automation, Microservices, Spring Boot, and BDD, along with strong knowledge of modern web technologies and cloud-based application testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for web, API, and microservices applications.

• Develop automation solutions using Java, JavaScript, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, and Rest Assured.

• Perform UI, API, Web Services, and Microservices testing.

• Create and maintain BDD automation using Cucumber and Gherkin scenarios.

• Convert business requirements and user stories into comprehensive automated test cases.

• Develop and execute automated tests for applications built using React, Angular, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks.

• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.

• Perform API validation, including JSON/XML validation and end-to-end API automation.

• Conduct database testing and validation using MongoDB and DB2.

• Support testing of cloud-based applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, business stakeholders, and QA teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, and work with development teams to resolve issues.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance on automation strategy, framework design, and quality engineering practices.

• Ensure automation solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with engineering standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Test Automation, Software Development, or Quality Engineering.

• PACT.IO and Strong programming experience with Java and JavaScript.

• Mandatory hands-on experience with Playwright.

• Strong experience with Selenium, Cypress, and Rest Assured.

• Strong knowledge of API Automation, Microservices Testing, UI Testing, and Web Services Testing.

• Experience with BDD/Cucumber and Gherkin.

• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Java-based application development.

• Experience with Angular, React, Node.js, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience designing scalable automation frameworks.

• Strong experience with Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.

• Experience with JSON/XML validation.

• Hands-on database testing experience with MongoDB and/or DB2.

• Knowledge of AWS EC2, S3, Lambda, and cloud application testing.

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and leadership skills.
