Scrum Master - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Master - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This role will support one to two ATM teams, guiding and coaching them on Scrum practices and developing their understanding of Agile principles. The ideal candidate will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and operate within a Scaled Agile model, representing the team in ART Syncs and Scrum of Scrums.

Responsibilities:

• Guide and coach one or more teams on Scrum practices and develop their understanding of Agile principles
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos/Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives)
• In a Scaled Agile model, facilitate scaled planning for the team (Pre Planning/Preparation and PI Planning Events) and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums/ART Syncs
• Help the team define norms/agreements, like a Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, and enforce the agreements
• Ensure the team has a healthy product and Sprint backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner
• Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for the team
• Measure team delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities
• Assist with the creation of Epics and User stories and help with compliance for JIRA items

Requirements:

• Experience as an Agile Scrum Master
• Strong skills with Agile tools (Jira)
• SAFe trained
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Pay range: $63.94 - $71.94 per hour
