Receive and process incoming samples submitted from internal and external sources; manage reformatting of incoming samples using tip based liquid handling automation. Execute fulfilment of outgoing sample requests including picking of samples (both manual and automated) aliquoting with tip based liquid handlers, reformatting and titrating samples based on submitted requests. Maintain communication with sample requestor and all internal collaborators. Ability to learn new software to support streamlined workflows. The Candidate will work in a highly interactive organization and must be an excellent communicator.

Summary of the Essential Functions of the Job

Organization of physical sample and lab consumables inventory
Manual manipulation of vessels with caps, plates with cap mats and seals, latch racks
Ability to learn new technologies and software
Organization and record keeping
Excellent Data entry and record keeping skills
Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Effectively communicate project status to project team members

Minimum Requirements

BS (or equivalent laboratory experience) in Biology/Chemistry/Life Sciences, compound management/sample logistics experience desirable.(1-2 years)
Working knowledge of technologies commonly used in a laboratory setting, liquid handling automation experience desirable
Comfortable with working in proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, gloves, lab coat)
Excellent computer skills.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and work productively in teams as well as independently.
