Overview of role
You will have the opportunity to lead the development of next-generationbiological models, tissue systems, and screening platforms to investigate mechanisms and intervention opportunities across cells, tissues, and organ systems. This role combines deep experimental biology, assay innovation, and systems-level thinkingto generate human-relevant, decision-ready evidence andestablish external scientific credibility that differentiates P&G innovation and supports business growth.Â
You will own experimental model and assay strategy, mechanistic investigation across cells, tissues, and organ systems, and the integration of biological evidence into actionable scientific and program recommendations. If this sounds exciting to you, apply NOW!
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
1.Lead Biological Model and Assay StrategyÂ
Define the roadmap for2D and 3D cellular, tissue, and organ-system models against priority biological questions. Â
Design, optimize, validate, and deploy assays spanningmolecular, cellular, tissue, and organ-level biology. Â
Ensure experimental models arefit for purpose, biologically relevant, reproducible, and connected to clear discovery decisions. Â
Identify and evaluate emerging biologicalmodels, non-animal methods, organotypic systems, organ-on-chip technologies, and next-generation screening approaches.Â
2.Advance Mechanistic and Translational DiscoveryÂ
Investigate biological pathways, cellular interactions, system perturbations, recovery processes, and intervention responses. Â
Connect molecular and cellular mechanisms withhigher-order tissue, organ, and physiological outcomes. Â
Translate experimental evidence intoclear mechanistic conclusions, intervention opportunities, and program recommendations. Â
Apply systems-level thinking toidentify the most informative experiments and strengthen biological understanding across programs.Â
3.Provide Scientific Leadership and Build CapabilityÂ
Serve as anexperimental biology technical leader, guiding scientists and researchers in experimental design, method development, troubleshooting, and interpretation. Â
Translate complex biological findings intoactionable recommendations for technical and business stakeholders. Â
Buildexternal partnerships that provide access to differentiated models, technologies, expertise, and experimental capabilities. Â
Strengthen long-term experimental biology and screening-platform capability through mentoring, external scientific engagement, and adoption of emerging methods.Â
