Role Overview
We are looking for an experiencedSAP UI5 / Fiori Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP Fiori application development, SAPUI5, OData, SAP Gateway and SAP S/4HANA environments.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, deploying and supporting SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, working closely with functional and technical teams to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and enhance responsiveSAP Fiori/SAPUI5 applications using JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Develop bothFreestyle SAPUI5 and Fiori Elements applications.
  • Develop, consume, enhance and troubleshootOData services.
  • Work withSAP Gateway and SAP S/4HANA backend systems.
  • Configure and maintainSAP Fiori Launchpad, including catalogs, groups/spaces, pages, roles and target mappings.
  • Customize, enhance and extend standard SAP Fiori applications based on business requirements.
  • Develop reusable UI5 components and follow SAP Fiori design principles.
  • Work on application deployment throughSAP Business Application Studio (Client), SAP Web IDE, Cloud Foundry and/or ABAP Repository.
  • Integrate SAP Fiori applications with backend and REST-based services.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the UI, OData, Gateway and backend integration layers.
  • Analyze production issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
  • Work with SAP on-premise Fiori architecture and frontend/backend integration.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment and production support.
  • Evaluate new SAP technologies and contribute to technical knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Technical Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience withSAP UI5 / SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori.
  • Strong knowledge ofJavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Experience withSAP Fiori Elements and Freestyle UI5.
  • Strong experience withOData Services and SAP Gateway.
  • Experience withSAP Fiori Launchpad configuration.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori on-premise environments.
  • Hands-on experience withSAP Business Application Studio (Client) and/or SAP Web IDE.
  • Experience in Fiori application deployment and support.
  • Understanding ofREST APIs and web-service integration.
  • Experience in extending/customizing standard SAP Fiori applications.
  • Good understanding of enterprise application architecture and software development principles.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Good to Have
  • SAP BTP experience.
  • SAP Build Work Zone experience.
  • SAP Integration Suite / CPI experience.
  • Knowledge ofABAP, CDS Views and AMDP.
  • Experience withRAP.
  • Exposure to RICEFW objects.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of Python.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have5+ years of hands-on SAP UI5/Fiori experience, with strong exposure toOData, SAP Gateway, Fiori Launchpad and S/4HANA. Experience withBTP, Fiori Elements, SAP Integration Suite/CPI and Fiori extensibility will be an added advantage.
