SAP Technical Consultant – S/4HANA & ABAP (m/f)

ARHS Group, part of Accenture, is looking for an experiencedSAP Technical Consultant to join one of our client teams in Luxembourg within apublic sector environment.

In this role, you will contribute to the modernization and continuous improvement of anSAP S/4HANA environment, developing and integrating technical solutions usingABAP, SAP Fiori, and modern SAP technologies. You will work on transformation projects, application enhancements, and expert support activities, with a strong focus on SAP standards, Clean Core principles, performance, security, and maintainability.

THE WORK:

• Analyze technical and functional requirements, assess SAP incidents, and collaborate with functional consultants to define appropriate solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintainABAP and ABAP Objects solutions within SAP S/4HANA.

• Develop and enhanceSAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

• Build and maintainCDS Views, OData services, APIs, BAPIs, BAdIs, and SAP integration interfaces.

• Develop and support integrations usingIDoc, RFC, Web Services, and other integration technologies.

• Prepare technical specifications, estimate development efforts, and maintain technical documentation.

• Perform unit testing, debugging, code quality checks, and performance optimization.

• Apply SAP development best practices,Clean Core principles, security standards, and authorization requirements.

• Support transports, deployments, Level 3 incident resolution, and post-production activities.

• Collaborate with functional, technical, security, and architecture teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.

Onsite at client site: This role requires an onsite presence with our clients and partners to support project delivery and strengthen collaboration.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in SAP S/4HANA technical development.

• Advanced experience withABAP, ABAP Objects, performance optimization, and SAP development best practices.

• Strong knowledge ofSAPUI5, Fiori Elements, extensions, and SAP Fiori UX principles.

• Experience withABAP RAP, Business Objects (BO), Behavior Definitions (BDEF), and OData V4.

• Strong knowledge ofCDS Views, Virtual Data Models (VDM), Data Control Language (DCL), annotations, and SAP HANA code pushdown.

• Experience withAPIs, BAPIs, BAdIs, IDoc, RFC, Web Services, and file-based integrations.

• Experience withunit testing, ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC), Git, code quality practices, and technical documentation.

• Good understanding of requirements management, testing, transports, and deployment processes.

• Knowledge ofSAP authorizations (PFCG/DCL), least-privilege principles, and secure development practices.

• Strong experience inLevel 3 incident analysis, debugging, tracing, and performance optimization.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with functional and technical teams.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience withAdobe Forms, Smart Forms, or equivalent technologies.

• Knowledge ofSAP BTP, Business Application Studio (BAS), Cloud Connector, and SAP integration principles.

• Familiarity withSAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere, or cloud integrations.
