SAP PP/QM Functional Consultant

Role Summary

• Lead SAP PP/QM solution design, configuration, and implementation for manufacturing execution, warehouse automation, and AGV integration projects.

• Drive end-to-end process design, testing, deployment, validation, and stakeholder management activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP PP processes including Material Master, BOMs, Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions, MRP, Process Orders, and Production Confirmations.

• Design and optimize production planning, material consumption, inventory management, and manufacturing execution processes.

• Configure SAP QM components including Inspection Types, Inspection Plans, Sampling Procedures, Usage Decisions, Quality Notifications, and Batch Release processes.

• Define and implement integration between SAP PP/QM and external manufacturing, quality, and warehouse automation systems.

• Design automated material staging, replenishment, and production supply processes leveraging AGV/WCS solutions.

• Define automated material movement triggers between warehouse and production environments.

• Ensure material availability, batch traceability, and seamless production-to-warehouse integration.

• Prepare and execute SIT, UAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ validation activities.

• Coordinate end-to-end testing, defect management, retesting, cutover, go-live, and hypercare support.

• Conduct business process workshops, requirements gathering, gap analysis, and stakeholder alignment.

• Collaborate with business teams, automation vendors, ABAP, integration, and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated manufacturing solutions.

Required Project Experience

• 8+ years of SAP functional consulting experience.

• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP implementation projects.

• Experience delivering AGV, AMR, WCS, or warehouse automation initiatives.

• Experience preparing SOW, URS, FS, SIT, UAT, Validation, and Cutover documentation.

• Proven experience working with business users, automation vendors, SAP technical teams, and integration partners.
