SAP MDG Technical Design & Development

• Design and implement SAP MDG solutions for:
  • Business Partner (BP)
  • Material Master (MDG-M)
  • Supplier/Vendor
  • Customer
  • Finance Objects (GL, Cost Center, Profit Center)
• Lead technical solution architecture and provide design recommendations.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and development objects.
• Participate in fit-gap analysis and technical workshops.

Data Modeling

• Extend standard MDG data models.
• Create custom entities, relationships, attributes, and data models.
• Configure key mapping and value mapping.
• Support custom master data domains where required.

UI Modeling

• Design and enhance MDG user interfaces using:
  • Floorplan Manager (FPM)
  • UIBBs
  • Web Dynpro
  • Fiori Applications
• Develop feeder classes and UI enhancements.

Process Modeling & Workflow

• Configure and enhance Change Request (CR) processes.
• Implement Rule-Based Workflows using BRF+.
• Develop dynamic agent determination and approval workflows.
• Configure validations, derivations, notifications, and escalation mechanisms.

Integration & Replication

• Implement and support DRF (Data Replication Framework).
• Configure:
  • IDOCs
  • SOA Services
  • Web Services
  • OData Services
  • CPI integrations
• Integrate SAP MDG with SAP and non-SAP systems.

Custom Development

• Develop and enhance:
  • BADIs
  • User Exits
  • Enhancement Framework
  • OO ABAP developments
  • Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF)
• Build custom validation and derivation frameworks.

Upgrade & Transformation Projects

• Participate in MDG upgrades and S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Perform impact assessments, SPAU/SPDD analysis, and remediation activities.
• Support ATC checks and technical testing during upgrades.

AMS & Production Support

• Lead L2/L3 production support.
• Analyze and resolve incidents, service requests, and performance issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.

• Experience inS/4HANA migration or MDG upgrade projects.
• Experience working with global data governance programs.
• SAP MDG Certification preferred.
• Exposure to Agile project delivery methodologies.
